Curtis R. Natham, CPA

PARTNER (FORMER MANAGING PARTNER)

Curtis has been in public accounting since 1988. He has a great deal of corporate finance and accounting experience in building, leading, and advising corporations through complex restructurings, international expansion and capital markets transactions. He has experience taking companies through an IPO process, knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP. Curtis has a strong base of SEC expertise and background in mergers and acquisitions. He has experience leading a company through a capital raising process and has a “Big 4” public accounting foundation experience with the international accounting and consulting firm KPMG as an audit manager of financial services practice, where he spent six years in the Los Angeles business unit.

Curtis has a hands-on approach and ability to balance technical finance issues with wide strategic and operational objectives. He is a highly qualified leader with a track record of documented contributions directly linked with improved financial performance, heightened productivity, and enhanced internal controls. Curtis has a proven track record in developing and leading teams to deliver results.

He is the partner-in-charge of the accounting and audit practices at HKG, LLP. He performs contract audit work and specializes in internal audit services. Prior to joining HKG, Curtis was a co-managing partner/partner-in-charge of the Accounting and Audit Practice Unit with Lucas, Horsfall, Murphy and Pindroh, LLP (LHMP). Curtis serves as a peer reviewer for CPA firms in California, Nevada and Hawaii and holds licenses to practice in California and Hawaii. Curtis is a native of Los Angeles. He serves on the Finance and Audit Committees of the Board of Directors for Five Acres, American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) and is the Board Treasurer at Pasadena Mental Health Center (PMHC).
